NZNO Tribute To A Mighty Supporter of Workers’ Rights and Social Justice
The CEO of the New
Zealand Nurses Organisation, Geoff Annals, has paid tribute
today to Rod Donald and extended condolences to Rod’s family
and his Green Party colleagues on behalf of NZNO.
“Rod was unceasing in his support of workers’ rights, social justice and fairness in New Zealand and globally, and his death is a massive loss,” said Geoff Annals.
“NZNO would like to note the huge support Rod gave to support nurses’ and midwives’ campaign for fair pay and subsequent campaigns for fair pay in aged care and for other low paid workers.
“NZNO joins workers and ordinary New Zealanders committed to social justice and fairness who will mourn Rod’s untimely death.”
