Housing New Zealand Board receives draft OAG report
The Board of Housing New Zealand Corporation has received the draft report of the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) inquiry into allegations about various matters made by a former contractor of the Corporation.
HNZC Board Chairman Pat Snedden said the Board, along with other parties, had been asked for feedback on the accuracy and balance of the draft report.
"The Board will meet on Monday (May 22) to discuss the draft report. This will enable us to provide the Auditor-General with feedback by Tuesday (May 23), as requested," Mr Snedden said.
"The Auditor-General has stressed the confidentiality of the draft report and we will be respecting that confidentiality.
"We look forward to receiving the final report from the OAG. We will then report to responsible Ministers before publicly releasing the report."
