Make HIV Treatment User-Pays
Libertarianz Health Spokesman Dr Richard McGrath said today that the HIV-infected Zimbabwean immigrants should cover the health costs of any treatment they receive.
"These people should be free to seek medical or other therapy, but the rest of us should not be forced to pay for it," he said.
"The Libertarianz Party has an open immigration policy, with the caveat that people coming here need to pay their own way. Indeed, that rule should apply to everyone. One person's health needs should not be a claim on the savings and assets of other New Zealanders."
"It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!"
