Sex Sells, but not in my mailbox please

Hell Pizza has pushed the boundries of advertising too far with is use of condoms in mini pizza boxes to sell their meat lovers pizza.

Not only does the connection between 'meat-lovers' pizzas and condoms cheapen women and the act of sex, but putting condoms in letterboxes means that anybody, no matter how old, are being handed condoms and instructed how to use them.

Focus on the Family's Executive Director, Tim Sisarich says that, "Hell Pizza has stooped to a new low in using sex to sell pizzas." He says that this is putting condoms in the hands of children and telling them what to do with them -Hell Pizza are potentially encouraging the illegal act of under-age sex."

Is this really what we want our 6 or 7 year olds pulling out of the mail box? Do we really want a marketing campaign introducing our children to these sort s of thing?

Mr Sisarich says, "I can see how Hell Pizza would have seen this as a fun and invocative marketing Campaign. But it is totally inappropriate and I personally think that every parent should feel offended at Hell Pizza's blatent disregard of the innocent minds of our children."

Focus on the Family believe that this is a great opportunity for New Zealanders to make a stand for families and our children ... chose another pizza outlet, unless Hell Pizza
