Tourist Rapist Deserves Bullet Says Watchdog
The men involved in the rape of a Dutch tourist deserve a bullet says a Justice Watchdog.
The rape of a Dutch tourist on her honeymoon has so infuriated the Sensible Sentencing Trust they are demanding the Government hold a binding referendum so the public can decide what the appropriate penalty should be for such offences.
Trust spokesman Garth McVicar the premeditated attack on a young Dutch couple honeymooning in New Zealand was a despicable crime, “But the gunpoint rape of the young woman was the lowest of the low by vermin who deserved nothing better than a bullet”.
“We can not stand back and allow woman to be violated like this, the soft treatment of criminals must end and we urge the Government to ask the people of New Zealand how criminals like this should be dealt with”.
“A crime like this affects every man woman and child in this country and we strongly believe the public are the ones who should decide what the penalty should be”.
Mr. McVicar said he was prepared to supply the rifle, the bullet and pull the trigger if necessary, “But I am sure every decent minded citizen in this country would be lining up for the privilege”.
