Protest: Stop the hostage detentions at Mt Eden prison!
Protest: Mt Eden Prison, Boston Road, Mt Eden. Saturday 19th May 1pm - 2pm
Five Iranians are being held in Auckland's Mt Eden prison without charge or trial. Ali Reza Panah (detained 18 months) and Amir Mohebbi (detained now for more than three years despite having 3 young kiwi children) are two of the five. Thomas Yadegary was in a similar situation but was released after a public campaign. The five remaining Iranians must also be released. Let's make this a protest that can't be ignored. Please make a big effort to be there. We can't protest outside Guantanemo Bay but we can at Mt Eden!
