People’s power in Venezuela Public meeting in Auckland
Coral Wynter, an Australian
journalist recently returned from a year
living and
working in Venezuela, is visiting Auckland this week.
Ms
Wynter reported on Venezuela’s Bolivarian Revolution for
Green Left
Weekly newspaper.
She will give a public
presentation on "People’s Power in Venezuela"
at
Auckland’s Latin American Centre, 37 Selwyn Street,
Onehunga, at 7:30 on
Thursday night.
"The revolution in
Venezuela offers hope and inspiration, not only to
Latin
America, but the world. It shows that another world is
possible, and
that world is socialist," Ms Wynter
said.
The meeting is being organised by VAST, the
Venezuela Aotearoa
Solidarity
Team.
