Congratulations to Telecom from Trust
Congratulations to Telecom from Spirit of Adventure Trust
The Spirit of Adventure Trust would like to congratulate Telecom on its decision this morning to remove its list of 50 charities and open up its Charity Vote to every charity in NZ.
The Trust was concerned that the Charity Vote may disadvantage some charities - namely those who were not included on the list of 50 that Telecom had compiled.
Last night the Spirit of Adventure Trust said, "The substantial size of the donation has many charities hoping they are the successful recipients and it would be disappointing if the selection or voting process disadvantaged any one of them".
However, this morning Telecom has phoned through to advise us that it has removed the list of 50 charities and people will be able to vote for their charity of choice - without any prompt.
The Spirit of Adventure Trust congratulates Telecom for listening to our concerns and responding so promptly.
