‘Willie Jackson calls Peters a disgrace’

NZ First Leader Winston Peters “a disgrace” in a fierce
twenty minute interview/debate held on Radio Waatea’s NZ
on Air show Paakiwaha. Jackson who also fronts TVNZ Eye to
Eye and is co host with John Tamihere on a daily talkback
show on Radio Live said “it was a very challenging
interview”.
Jackson said “Winston needed to be challenged for his annual Maori bashing rhetoric and it was great to be able to get that opportunity”.
Jackson also said that “the interview could have just been reduced to both of us trading insults, (although there were a few), but developed into one of the best interview/debates that I have had with any politician”.
