Eye To Eye With Willie Jackson Is Back
Eye To Eye With Willie Jackson
Eye to Eye is back for 2008. It’s our fifth year and this is our first show of the year. It’s an election year and Willie will ask the questions that need to be asked.
According to Willie the Maori vote could be crucial for any government in 2008. Jackson says, “It’s a far cry from 2005 when sheep were more important than Maori, when Hone Harawira was a hater and wrecker. In 2005 the Maori were seen as a privileged race and the last cab of the political rank. Now, all the parties love those separatists the Maori Party”.
Disagreeing with Willie in this are; from the right Jock Anderson and Matthew Hooton, and from the left Chris Trotter and Matt McCarten.
Eye to Eye with Willie Jackson Sunday 6 April, TVONE 11:30AM.
