Death of Dylan Hohepa Tonga Rimoni
Child, Youth and Family head Ray Smith today expressed his sorrow at the death of three year old Dylan Rimoni.
"The loss of such a young life is always a tragedy".
Ray Smith clarified that Dylan's foster care was a private family arrangement.
"With a police investigation underway and in the early stages, it is important that speculation and comment are kept to a minimum so police can get on with the job of bringing to justice those responsible for the death of Dylan.
"Child, Youth and Family will work with Police in helping to achieve this," said Ray Smith.
