Sacred Chanting
for Peace in Tibet
Sunday 15th March from 12 noon to
approx.1pm
in the Cathedral Square
This interfaith gathering of the Sacred Chanting for Peace in Tibet will be held on Sunday,15th March from 12 noon to approximately 1pm in the Cathedral Square. This is to commemorate the 50th Tibetan National Uprising Day and the many lives lost and to support the continuing struggle of the Tibetan people for justice. We are proposing to do this with sacred chants, hymns and prayers. Expected participants are Buddhist monks, Muslims, Hindus, Christians and more to be confirmed.
So, spiritual brothers and sisters, activists, politicians, refugees, migrants, workers and many others in our community who are concerned about justice to the world come along and let’s get together to show our support to the Tibetan people.
We would appreciate
your participation enormously as the larger the assembly is,
the stronger the message that we can deliver.
NOTE:
Bring a Tibetan flag or any symbol of Justice and Peace, if
you could.
(home-made placard welcome, eg. Free Tibet
etc.)
