Amendment to Press Statement From Citizens & Ratepayers Regarding Michael Barnett
We wish to clarify our Press Statement issued earlier today.
Mr Barnett will not be standing down as ARC Councillor and Deputy Chairman. He will in fact continue in those roles till the next election.
His withdrawal is only from his position as a Councillor for the Waitemata & Gulf Ward for the New Auckland City.
We apologise for any incorrect impression which may have been created.
