Honda advises of email scam
Honda New
Zealand wishes to advise its customers and the public of an
email phishing scam.
The hoax emails have the subject line ‘2010 HONDA RESULT’ and notify recipients of a large cash prize.
These email messages may vary in their presentation and content, and may prompt recipients to follow a link to a Honda associated site or to contact a Honda ‘agent’ for further information.
Honda New
Zealand strongly advises recipients to ignore these emails
and to delete them from their computers
immediately.
