On 2 July, 2010 Ken Gordon the Complaints Resolution Manger for the BNZ stated in an email to an Iwi member The Bank wishes to advise that we have been provided with a certified copy of the minutes of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Te Runanga O Ati Ki Whakarongotai Inc. which took place on 29 May 2010 whereby an Executive was appointed.
The Bank has also received confirmation from the legal counsel acting for Te Runanga O Ati Ki Whakarongotai Inc. whom has confirmed that this AGM was legally constituted and the Executive appointments were valid. Accordingly, the Bank could accept this Executive as having the legal mandate to operate as signatories on the Runanga O Ati Ki Whakarongotai Inc. bank accounts.
For this reason, the Bank is not going to Stop the accounts held by Te Runanga O Ati Ki
Whakarongotai Inc..
