On Q + A this Sunday
On Q + A this Sunday:
This week Q+A is live from the floor at the National Party conference. Mid-way through its first term, has National delivered? Is it do-nothing, or is it doing too much? Guyon Espiner will be live from Sky City with National leader and PM John Key.
Paul Holmes interviews Te Tai Tonga MP Rahui Katene and Labour leader Phil Goff about taking GST off healthy foods. Will that get us eating more healthily and cut obesity rates? Or is it too complicated to define what’s healthy and what’s not? And can the government’s books afford it? The government looks set to reject the idea, so can the opposition parties win public support?
Dr Therese Arseneau is joined on the panel by former Labour Party president Mike Williams and Young Nat president Daniel Feilding.
Q + A is broadcast live 9-10am Sunday on TV ONE and repeated at 9.10pm on Sunday nights and 10.10am and 2.10pm on Mondays on TVNZ 7.
(TVNZ 7 screens on Freeview Channel 7 and Sky TV Channel 97).
