"The teams’ determination when faced with playing 13 against 15 in the first half was an inspiration, he said. "Rather than loosing their heads over some frustrating decisions that saw 3 players sin-binned, the team continued to show the class that has earned them such a high reputation.

" I am sure many of us are hoping this cup in the cabinet will add the final inspiration and challenge the All Blacks need for 2011.

"Well done ladies, you have made all Kiwis proud by you achievement," said the Kiwi Party leader.
