Preliminary Results For Auckland Local Elections

Preliminary results have been released for the new Auckaland 'super-city' council following yesterday's local government elections. They show a comfortable victory for Counties Manukau mayor Len Brown over Auckland mayor John Banks. Businessman Colin Craig finished a distant third.
