Family Planning – The Peddlers of Death

Right to Life is totally committed to helping to keep our communities safe by vigorously opposing the plans of Family Planning to convert its 30 clinics into killing centres for innocent and defenceless unborn children. The chief executive officer of Family Planning, Jackie Edmund stated in a recent media release that while it had withdrawn its application for a licence to perform abortions at its Hamilton clinic due to funding difficulties with the Waikato District Health Board, it now would now seek licences for other centres.

Family Planning proposes to provide for the killing of unborn children in the first nine weeks of life by medical abortions using the lethal murder pill, RU 486. The drug acts by killing the tiny child by starvation.

Family Planning seeks to gain public funding through contracts with the local district health boards. Why should the taxpayer be required to fund the killing of unborn children? Our health boards should be protecting life and promoting health, not funding the killing of our children. Right to Life calls on every community to be alert to the plans of Family Planning and to earnestly lobby their district health boards to ensure that they do not enter into funding contracts with the Association.

Family Planning receives millions of dollars of funding each year from the government. The Association does not provide a service to the community; it is destructive to families, promotes a hedonistic and pagan view of human sexuality, seduces our youth by promoting promiscuity, and believes that the killing of unborn children is a legitimate part of reproductive health and necessary as a backup for so called failed contraceptives.

The Family Planning Association supports abortion on demand, the decriminalisation of abortion, same sex marriage and is also supportive of China’s brutal one child policy, which includes forced abortions and sterilisations. Family Planning represents a culture of death and its plans for our families which include the establishment of 30 centres in our nation for the killing of our unborn should be vigilantly and vigorously opposed.

The United States Congress is currently considering legislation to de-fund Planned Parenthood, a sister affiliate with Family Planning, in the International Planned Parenthood Association, because of alleged illegal sex trafficking activity. It is time that our government stopped funding Family Planning.
