On Q + A this Sunday
On Q+A this Sunday, The Tai Tokerau by-election hangs in the balance with politics watchers split as to whether Hone Harawira or Kelvin Davis will triumph on Saturday. So on Sunday morning Q+A has the first TV interview with the winner, to ask what made the difference and what his win means for the coming general election.
Then, Housing Minister Phil Heatley is undertaking major reform of the state housing sector that amounts to much more than a lick of paint. Having revealed on Q+A last year the end of the ‘state house for life’ era, he’s back to talk about the next stage of his plans for the government’s $15 billion worth of houses and the many tens of thousands who live in them.
Finally, after the announcements this week Christchurch has some certainty; but questions remain. So Mayor Bob Parker joins us live from Christchurch to look at what’s next for our shaking city, his concerns, and what he’s asking of the rest of the country.
Dr Claire Robinson of Massey
University is joined on our expert panel by Ngai Tahu
Kaiwhakahaere Mark Solomon and former cabinet minister
