On Q+A and Marae Investigates tomorrow...

On Q + A this
Sunday
New Zealand is looking to open the trade doors to India , one of the world’s fastest growing economies. The government is expecting a deal next year, but is it as simple as it looks?
We have an exclusive and revealing interview with India ’s Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma, via satellite from Delhi . How big is the potential for our businesses? What’s in it for India ? And could child labour be a sticking point?
Then, New Zealand ’s Trade Minister Tim Groser joins us from his next port of call, Berlin . Does the India deal present the same opportunities – and fish hooks – as the deal with China ?
Finally, it’s called Wai 262 – a small name for the mother of all Waitangi claims. Flora and fauna, songs, haka and art; indeed all Maori intellectual property and lore has been claimed. The Waitangi Tribunal reveals its recommendations to government this weekend. Guyon Espiner will speak live to senior Labour MP and former Waitangi Fisheries Commission Chair, Shane Jones, to unpick the political risks and ask what it means for all New Zealanders.
On the panel, Dr Jon Johansson is joined by trade negotiator turned lobbyist Charles Finny and broadcaster, publisher and former political adviser and mayor, Derek Fox.

The new Children’s Commissioner is on a mission to banish child neglect and abuse in NZ. Dr Russell Wills shares some of the controversial and hard hitting tactics he plans to use on his crusade.
After 20 years the finding in the most far reaching Treaty Claim, Wai262, is released. We background the claim and with the launch of Mäori Language Week, look at it’s implications for Te Reo.
Prof Taiarahia Black, Cathy Dewes and Willie Jackson are on the Marae Investigates panel this week.
And should women be allowed to whaikorero? It’s a controversial question being raised by a group in the Wairarapa who believe it’s time for women to step forward.
