Adidas won’t budge – neither will we.
Adidas won’t budge – neither will we.
This morning in the New Zealand Herald, there was an article that mentioned our group. In the article, it said “Last night the site had 321 members.” As of 8:45am, this group now has 1554 members. This shows how strongly New Zealanders feel about this issue.
Adidas have shown their arrogance, with New Zealand manager, David Huggett, saying that he applauds “healthy competition”. Healthy competition would be allowing New Zealanders to shop wherever they want for these All Blacks jerseys, including overseas. There is no healthy competition here. Adidas has destroyed it.
We still call upon Adidas New Zealand to stop blocking New Zealanders from purchasing overseas. We still call upon Adidas Global to make a stance on this. We still call upon the NZRU to support the fans over the corporations.
If you feel strongly about this, please join us at www.facebook.com/groups/boycott.adidas.nz and show Adidas that we won’t stand by and watch our All Blacks be consumed by the ignorance of a corporate body.
