National’s policy will require a sole parent who has a further child while on the DPB to start looking for work when that child turns one.
On Q+A this morning Guyon Espiner released the results from the latest ONE News Colmar Brunton poll that asked voters if they supported that policy:
54% supported
it
40% did not support it
6% didn’t know
The polling took place
between 5-9 November, 2011
1005 eligible voters
were surveyed
The margin of error for the poll is
+/- 3.1%
The data has been weighted to Department
of Statistics Population Estimates to ensure it is
representative of the population in terms of age, gender,
household size and ethnic
origin.
