National building more roads and drilling more oil isn't a plan
MANA doesn't believe National's plan to build more roads and drill for more oil are the best infrastructure investments that will future proof NZ and promote our clean green brand.
"$9 Billion for roads benefits the roading industry and more oil drilling benefits the oil industry," says MANA spokesperson for the Environment Angeline Greensill.
She says our investment right now should be in public transport investment to get more New Zealanders out of their cars to make our existing roading network more efficient
"The Rena disaster has shown how utterly unprepared NZ is when accidents occur.
"Rather than look after the industry donors of the National Party, our investment should be focused on the well being of the entire country."
MANA want investment to prove how beneficial they are for everyone before they are green-lighted.
