Mana Spokesperson Nominated: Angeline Greensill
Angeline Ngahina Greensill, lecturer and political and environmental activist has been announced as the MANA spokesperson for the Environment.
“Angeline is passionate about preserving our natural environment and keeping it pollution free for our successive generations” says Mereaira Hata, Campaign Manager for Angeline Greensill.
Angeline objects to the extraction of minerals and declares that “We know the current government is welcoming international corporations from offshore to come and extract mineral and oil wealth from Aotearoa without consultation or without concerns about the likely impact upon Tangaroa and Papatuanuku”.
The message Angeline left at a recent forum was “MANA
will always put people and the environment before
profits”.
