Hutt City Council’s New Chief Executive
2 March 2012
The Hutt City Council’s new Chief
Executive is the incumbent Tony Stallinger.
Mayor Ray
Wallace says there was a high level of interest in the role
from a range of very strong candidates.
“Tony demonstrated he was the candidate of choice to guide the council over the next five years,” the Mayor says.
This recruitment process was required under the Local Government Act following Tony Stallinger’s contract expiring later this year.
Mr Stallinger joined Hutt City Council 13 years ago and was appointed chief executive in 2007.
His new contract, which starts 21 May, has no increase in salary and conditions.
