Kiwis Return From Six Month Deployment To Afghanistan
Media are invited to attend the return on Tuesday 24 April of the nineteenth rotation of the New Zealand Provincial Reconstruction Team (NZPRT), who have completed a six month deployment to Afghanistan.
Around 100 NZ Defence Force personnel, including Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Brett Wellington, will arrive at Royal New Zealand Air Force Base Ohakea at 5.55pm on Tuesday.
They will be met by Chief of Army, Major General Tim Keating, MNZM, and family and friends.
The rest of the contingent returned to New
Zealand over a week ago.
