Sean Topham elected Young Nats President
Saturday 21st July 2012
Sean Topham has been elected as Young Nationals President at the New Zealand Young Nationals Conference in Auckland this weekend.
“It’s time to make our voice strong in John Key’s National-led Government by growing our resources, developing our activism and re-communicating our vision to young New Zealanders” says Topham.
His new leadership team will consist of Shaun Wallis (Vice President), Megan Hands (Policy Officer), Sam MacDonald (National Secretary) and Mark Nicholson (Treasurer).
Topham’s new executive plans to refresh the organisation in the lead up to the 2014 election.
“We’ve got some awesome plans in store as we begin to roll out a bold and ambitious agenda over the next year.”
“Now more than ever, individual freedom must not be put at risk by a Winston-led Labour-Green Government that will hold New Zealand back.”
