Rail and Maritime Transport Union to picket Prime Minister this afternoon
A meeting of workers at PrimePort in Timaru this morning decided to picket Prime Minister John Key when he opens a new swimming pool in the town this afternoon.
The workers are angry that the decision by global container lines Maersk and Hamburg Sud to stop using the port will result in most of them losing their jobs and want to let the John Key know exactly how they feel.
