Young Nats delighted over marriage equality
Young Nats delighted that marriage equality passes first reading
The Young Nats are pleased that the Marriage Equality Amendment Bill has passed its first reading with 78 votes in support from Members of Parliament.
"Young Nats have been lobbying National MPs from day one and we are delighted that so many have cast their historic votes for marriage equality," says Young Nats President, Sean Topham.
"There is still a long way to go but we will be standing alongside the overwhelming majority of young Kiwis who believe in freedom and equal opportunity and who want to see this Bill become law," says Topham.
