Sam Hill Announces Candidacy for South Waikato Council

Announcement of candidacy for South Waikato District Council Elections

I am excited to announce that I will be standing as a candidate for the Tokoroa Ward of the 2013 South Waikato District Council elections.

I was born and raised in Tokoroa, I am proud of where I come from and I have a strong passion to see our town reach it's incredible potential.

I am commited to dedicating the next three years to seeing Tokoroa achieve great things.

I believe it is important for everyone in our community to be involved in these elections.
I urge everyone who is legally entitled to vote in these elections to enrol.

I also encourage anyone with a passion for Tokoroa to also seriously think about standing as a candidate in the election.

Tokoroa needs a strong team of diverse and capable councillors to express and represent our views.

Nominations open tomorrow (July 19) and close four weeks later at 12 noon on August 16.

I will be announcing policy ideas over the next few months and asking YOU - the people of Tokoroa - to tell me what you think the important issues are we need to address.

The council elected this October is going to have some very important decisions to make over the next three years.

It is crucial that we as a community get this right.

I look forward to meeting you all and discussing your vision for Tokoroa.

Regards,

Sam Hill
