Press Release: ANZ Bank
ANZ suspends advertising on Radio Live
ANZ Bank New
Zealand has today suspended its advertising schedule on
Radio Live until further notice.
ANZ is concerned about
the reported comments of Radio Live hosts John Tamihere and
Willie Jackson about the Roast Busters issue.
While
having freedom of speech is an important part of a well
functioning media, it comes with responsibilities. ANZ
believes Radio Live has overstepped the mark and as a result
is pulling its advertising until further notice.
