Power Price War
Power Price War
Date: 8/02/2014
While Genesis Energy is offering its customers in Christchurch and other ‘select’ parts of the country a two-year locked-in price which is reported to be almost 10% higher than the amount their customers are paying presently Allen Davies, Grey Power Energy National Chair points out that members who have joined Grey Power Electricity will have their prices, excluding line company charges held for 5 years.
Since September last year, when Grey Power, joined forces with Pulse Energy to offer members a better energy deal many have taken up the offer, mainly because not only are the prices fixed, Grey Power Electricity is also offering no mark up on network charges, transparent billing and a reduction in energy prices in the event of power becoming cheaper.
