Governor-General's shock over Malaysian Airlines MH17
The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, has expressed his deep shock in response to the news of the deaths of all 295 people on Malaysian Airlines MH17 over Eastern Ukraine today.
“This is terrible news for the families and friends of all those on board. We share their grief and I know the thoughts and sympathies of all New Zealanders will be with them,” Sir Jerry Mateparae said.
