The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae has expressed his delight at the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a second child.
“Lady Janine and I very much enjoyed hosting the Duke and Duchess and Prince George at Government House earlier this year. We are very pleased to hear that George is to have a brother or sister. On behalf of all New Zealanders, we wish them well at this happy time”, Sir Jerry said.
