March in Solidarity with Kurdistan Against ISIS Attacks

March in Solidarity with Kurdistan Against ISIS Attacks in Kobane

The New Zealand Kurdish Community will march in solidarity with Kurdistan in light of the heinous genocidal attacks in Kobanê by ISIS. We will begin with silent demonstrations then commence marching. We will start from Britomart, Queen Street (outside Dick Smith), Auckland at 12:30pm Saturday 25th October and end at Aotea Centre.

Over 500 people have pledged to join the march to stand with our brothers and sisters abroad who are victims of these inhumane acts of terror. New Zealand leaders in Government and opposition should condemn this genocide and acknowledge the need for an independent Kurdistan.
