Palestine
Canterbury for Justice in Palestine will be
holding an open and free Christchurch Seminar on Palestine
from 10 am to 3:30pm
on Sunday February 15th at the WEA Centre on 59
Gloucester St.
Seminar participants will be able to hear Palestinian stories told directly by Palestinian delegates who include two special international guests, Mr Shamikh Badra and Ms Samah Sabawi. Veteran activists John Minto, Lois and Martin Griffiths will also be speaking at the seminar.
The main objectives of the seminar are to bring awareness of the continual suffering of Palestinians and the enormous challenges that surround the Palestine struggle for freedom and justice. The Seminar also aims to explore effective methods of organizing resistance by contributing to non-violent actions such as Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS).
