Council must reconsider compromise
A media report
during the weekend confirms Mayor Len Brown’s
‘compromise solution’ on Ports of Auckland expansion is
a hollow promise.

Mayor Len Brown must now act to reconsider that compromise now the secret agenda of Ports of Auckland for further reclamation of the harbour has been exposed.
The compromise was agreed when five councillors were absent from the vote. Len Brown must now call an emergency meeting of the entire governing body of the Auckland Council to reconsider the ‘compromise solution’.
