Union women support Green Party commitment to gender representation
The CTU Women's Council is supporting the Greens announcement made today at the CTU biennial conference.
"It's wonderful that the Greens are taking a lead in guaranteeing equal representation of women in their own ministerial line up and in cabinet," CTU Women's Council spokesperson Sheryl Cadman said.
"Gender does matter. More women in Parliament focuses attention on making our country better for all, including for women," Cadman said.
