John Stringer and Conservatives
The recently elected Board of the Conservative Party has confirmed the decision of the previous board to suspend Mr John Stringer from the Party, and has set the period of suspension until August 2016. The Board also declares that in spite of Mr Stringer’s past role in the Party, he does not represent the Conservative Party in any way whatsoever.
The Board also wants to state that any allegations made by Colin Craig in the leaflet “Dirty Politics and Hidden Agendas” which he published are Colin Craig’s. Whilst party members will have differing opinions on these matters, the Party as a whole holds no view on them. The Party distances itself from these allegations.
“The focus of the Conservative Party is, and always has been, a healthy democracy where politicians truly represent the voting population in parliament,” says Party Spokesperson Leighton Baker.
