Cannabis Party announce guided cannabis tours to California
MEDIA RELEASE
The Cannabis Party
The Cannabis Party is pleased to announce an exclusive guided tour of California to buy legal cannabis.
By-election candidate Brandon Stronge said the tour was a unique opportunity for medical cannabis users to bring cannabis back into New Zealand legally.
"A doctor's evaluation and medical cannabis recommendation will be included as part of the package," he said.
"The guided tour will feature visits to Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz Island and a range of cannabis dispensaries."
The package includes 8 nights in California where medical cannabis has been legal since 1996 and recreational cannabis was legalised last month.
A loophole in the misuse of Drugs Act allow medical cannabis to be brought into New Zealand if it was legally obtained abroad for the treatment of a medical condition.
Stronge said New Zealanders should also be allowed to have a say on cannabis laws via a referendum.
