Do you want to help shape the future of honey in New Zealand?
Parliament wants to hear your voice –
public submissions are now open on the Primary Production
Committee’s inquiry into honey. The inquiry seeks to
investigate the following topics relating to honey:
•
the definition of Manuka
• health issues for
bees
• how security and workforce issues affect
the honey industry
• indigenous issues relating
to the branding of honey
• international
branding.
The committee welcomes submissions from
interested organisations and individuals. After receiving
submissions and hearing evidence, it will publish a report
based on this evidence.
