• The Government’s Budget and the
Treasury’s forecasts, released in May, largely met market
expectations
• Consumption growth appears to have eased
in the March quarter
• The unemployment rate fell to
4.4% in the March quarter, and wage measures were
mixed
• The risks are skewed to moderately weaker
international growth in 2018 than assumed in BEFU 2018
