Combined Christian Churches Gift Money To Muslim Community

Building a foundation of love and respect for all
is the sentiment behind the combined Christian Churches, as
represented by Te Raranga, gifting a total of $155,000 to
the Muslim community here in Christchurch.
The gift was collect by many Christian churches both here in Christchurch and across the nation following the recent Mosque attacks on 15 March 2019 here in Christchurch. It was given to meet the immediate needs of the families and communities affected by the tragedy.
As well as the monetary gift, the Christian Ministers and Leaders in Christchurch also offered to help in other ways as requested and are talking to the Muslim leadership of both the Linwood and Riccarton Mosques.
