Waikato Businesses pleased Government has dumped the CGT
Chris Simpson CEO of the Waikato Chamber of Commerce is
pleased for the 55,000 businesses operating in the Waikato
that the CGT has been dumped.
“Our members, our businesses and our community are please that this tax proposal has been scrapped.
“We applaud both the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister’s approach to see sense on behalf of all of those who get up every day and employ the 215,000 people in Waikato’s $21b economy!
“Our current tax system is relatively simple
and efficient. And, we are pleased it’s staying that
way!”
