Royal Commission on Genetic Modification

Maori Consultation Programme The Commission will be holding a regional hui in Rotorua tomorrow. It will be held at Tunohopu Marae, Ohinemutu, from 9:15am to 5:00pm.

The Commission will be holding workshops in Invercargill (Nga Hau E Wha Marae, 04/12/00, 2-5pm), Dunedin (Internal Affairs Building, cnr George Street and Octagon, 05/12/00, 2-5pm) and Upper Hutt (Orongomai Marae, 07/12/00, 5:30-8:30pm) next week.

Written submissions Submissions close at 5pm today.

Formal Hearings - Week 6 Next week the Commission will be hearing from Bio Dynamic Farming and Gardening Association in New Zealand, Commonsense Organics, Bio-gro New Zealand/ New Zealand Biological Producers and Consumers Council, Golden Bay Organic Employment and Education Trust, Organic Products Exporters Group, Organic Federation of New Zealand and Comvita New Zealand.
