Associations Get Smart

Press Release

From: Wired Internet Group

Associations Get Smart

Industry Associations have found a solution that will help their members control their websites content with little or no technical expertise.

The product SmartAlec developed by Wired Internet Group has been adopted by a number of associations including the Employers and Manufacturers Association and the Tourism Industry Association.

One of the first associations to take SmartAlec onboard was the Employers and Manufacturers Association (Central) who saw a need to provide members with a complete solution that they could rely on “we tested it fully and it passed with flying colours” said Murray French from EMA (Central) “SmartAlec provides a cost effective smart web management system that allows a website to be easily updated”

“When we first heard about SmartAlec we saw it as a common sense solution for our members wanting a new website. Our experience of having the power from our own browser based site management tool to manage the web content with very little specialised knowledge of software had highlighted to us the benefits that SmartAlec offers it users” said Mr French

Mike Baddeley from Wired Internet Group says that SmartAlec is proving popular amongst industry associations, as they can feel comfortable offering the solution to their members.

“Many associations were early adopters of the Internet as a tool to communicate with their members. They know the pitfalls to look out for in web development and if they can help their members avoid the same problems and offer a complete solution such as SmartAlec then everyone benefits”

SmartAlec is a comprehensive website solution including professional design, a host of user-friendly content management tools, newsletter manager and password access as part of the package with the ability to customise with additional modules as and when they are needed.
