NZ I.T. Managers Get Together
I.T. Managers in NZ are taking networking to the next level, forming their own knowledge-sharing network, CIO New Zealand.
The network provides a "CIO intranet" where members can "share knowledge and avoid making the same mistakes others have made," according to founder Jesper Kjaergaard.
"It's simply too expensive to reinvent the wheel," says Kjaergaard, "so CIO New Zealand provides a way to benefit from the experience and knowledge of others who've been there. Plus being part of a network saves time - you can tap into the knowledge base and get answers straight away."
The 80 CIO New Zealand members come from a mixture of privately and publicly owned medium-to-large companies, and several government departments.
