OldFriends.co.nz merges with Reunion.co.nz
Two of New Zealand’s largest school reunion websites, OldFriends and Reunion, announced their merger today.
Reunion.co.nz joins OldFriends.co.nz to create a combined database of over 40,000 registered members.
OldFriends launched this year in March and has rapidly grown to over 30,000 registered users. OldFriends is a free way for people to look up their old school and work friends, to see what they are up to now and to contact them.
Members of the Reunion website have been added to the OldFriends site and they will be able to start using the new site immediately. OldFriends site manager Jessi Morgan said that the increased number of members would be a huge boost for the site.
“It’s a case of bigger is better for this type of website. The more people there are the more likely you are to find your friends.”
OldFriends is part of the Trade Me family of sites which also encompasses New Zealand’s largest online auction site TradeMe.co.nz and the successful dating site FindSomeone.co.nz.
