Professor Ray Meyer Joins WDT Board
Wellington Drive Technologies Ltd has appointed Professor Ray Meyer to the Board.
Professor Meyer is a Professor Emeritus of the University of Auckland, having been a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and for a long time Dean and Head of the School of Engineering there. Throughout his University career he has been proactive in the commercialisation of technology and has been associated, from its beginning, with Auckland UniServices Ltd, both as its Deputy Chairman and as a consultant.
In addition to Auckland UniServices Ltd Professor Meyer is currently a Director of Watercare Services Ltd and of New Zealand Oil and Gas Ltd (NZSE:NOG). He is a past Director of the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand, Transpower New Zealand Ltd and Chairman of the New Zealand Forest Research Institute Ltd.
